Strangest NYCFL contest Invitation Ever…

I hope this finds you well.  Mr. Cardenas has let me know that their insurer is requiring us to request certificates of insurance from participating schools under the following terms.

 - $1m general liability per occurrence

 - $5m umbrella insurance

Certificate Holder:

Bronx Preparatory Charter School

3872 3rd Avenue

Bronx, NY 10454

Additional Insured:

Bronx Preparatory Charter School, Democracy Prep Public Schools, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers are named as additional insured on a primary and non-contributory basis.

I spoke with our business office and this seems to be a very standard request.  I am asking that all of you as quickly as possible bring this email to your business office and see if you can get the requested certificate of insurance.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I appreciate your cooperation and assistance here, and look forward to a great tournament on Saturday.

Once you have yours, either EMAIL it to me or fax it to my attention at 914 632-9760.

If you are a New York City Public school, or have provided this information to me previously, then you do not need to repeat the process.

Thank you!

This is the invitation to the March 14th Speech Tournament at Democracy Prep – Bronx Prep Charter.

Trophies will be given to the top 3 speakers in each category and we will award mugs and medals based on the size of the categories.  There are no team awards.

Judge quotas will be the usual 1 for 5 (entries – not speakers).  If you are entering any students in Congress, you must provide 1 student Congress Judge.

JV Judging is allowed, but before you may use JV judges, your VARSITY quota must be met with Varsity judges.
